FRIDAY JULY 13th

SATURDAY JULY 14th

SUNDAY JULY 15th

  • Education Day

We have arranged an educational day for the local schools and interested public to experience life in Ramsgate during WW1.

We have re-enactment groups exhibiting many collectibles from medical implements, communications and living in the trenches plus a guest speaker and film show.

  • Iain Dawson

    aka Viv The Spiv

Your Compere for the day's live events.  An authentic wartime Spiv from South London. "I've always got a good supply of quality merchandise for sale, its not nicked, its just not paid for yet."
  • Dance Group Air Raid Jive

    Air Raid Jive
1940’s jive with some early 50’s variations.
  • George Formby Experience

    George Formby Experience

George Formby Experience certainly has tongues wagging where folks often wonder if the Man is in fact related to the Formby Clan. Perhaps George's secret lovechild that nobody knew about until recently?  Or in fact the real Mr. Formby himself, a Time Traveller who happened to stumble through a Wormhole at the end of Wigan Pier.
Whatever the mystery and without shadow of a doubt the George Formby Experience is first and foremost uncanny in every sense by virtue of our Great British film star Comedy icon, eminating that famous ukulele strum with a plethora of irreplaceable rib tickling songs. Witness this remarkable re-incarnation.  The look, the sound is just beyond belief.
  • Tom Carradine

    Tom Carradine

Tom wanted to capture the flavour and atmosphere of a good old fashioned knees up (in the grand Cockney tradition) and recreate it for audiences young and old.
Since it’s launch in 2014, Carradine’s Cockney Sing-a-long has rapidly become a fixture on the UK’s thriving vintage scene and is now playing sell-out dates in the main auditorium at Wilton’s, monthly dates at Cahoots in London, Scallywag Cafe in Tunbridge Wells, Emporium in Brighton and for vintage events, corporate events and private parties across the country.
  • Drum Head Service

    Drum Head Service

Featuring Birchington Silver Band and the Thanet Male Voice Choir.
  • Keep the Home Fires Burning

A Centenary Commemoration in music and song of The Great War using songs of the era and recalling the great entertainers who sang them. Florrie Forde, Marie Lloyd and Vesta Tilley are but a few, and each of them did what they could to keep Britain’s fighting spirit alive and the country’s hopes high.

Songs that were sung at home whilst the boys were away and songs that Tommy Atkins sang in the trenches evoke the spirit, the emotions and the down-right bravery of those involved, in whatever way, with the conflict that was thought to be ‘the war to end all wars’.

  • Scott Elvis

    Scott Elvis
Rock 'n' Roll with Scott Elvis and  this stunning Elvis tribute. Saturday night show for ticket holders only.
  • Iain Dawson

    aka Viv The Spiv

Your Compere for the day's live events.  An authentic wartime Spiv from South London. "I've always got a good supply of quality merchandise for sale, its not nicked, its just not paid for yet."
  • The Knightingales Vintage Trio

  • Adam Hoffman

Adam is an all round entertainer with a fascination for 1940's/50's swing music.
  • In with Flynn

    In with Flynn
In With Flynn are a Swing group Inspired by The Rat Pack..
  • Devils Cut Combo

    The Devils Cut Combo
Driving an infectious beat of authentic early 50's RnB, Rockin' Blues and Boogie Woogie.
  • Miss Holiday Swing

    Miss Holiday Swing

...or Holly as she is more commonly known amongst family and friends, first "trod the boards" at the tender age of five.
Holly was part of a vocal harmony trio entertaining audiences up and down the country and even France, performing at events such as ‘Salute to the 40’s’, the ‘War and Peace Show’ and the ‘Twinwood Festival’.
Holly now has an extensive knowledge of Lindy Hopping, a skill in Victory Rolls, and a retro wardrobe to die for!
